Crispy potato rosti


Saya ingin berkongsi resepi Crispy potato rosti. Sesuai untuk seisi keluarga terutama anak-anak untuk makan petang.

Gambar tak sama kerana saya tak ikut resepi :) (Guna potato lain dan kuantiti sedikit)

Makes 8 : Preparation 10 mins : Cooking 12mins

700gm red potatoes, peeled and grated
1 egg
2 tbsp chopped chives
2 tbsp plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
vegetable oil, to shallow fry

1. Squeeze handfuls of grated potato over a bowl to remove as much liquid as you can. Place the squeezed   potato in a clean bowl.
2. Add egg and chives, and sift over flour and baking powder. Mix until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat about 5mm of oil in a large frying pan. Drop 4 x 1/4 cupfuls of mixture into pan and flatten slightly to about 8cm. Cook over medium heat for about 3 mins each side, or until golden brown and crisp. Repeat and drain on paper towel.
